Monalisa, whose sensational picture revolutionised Action Girl, has been voted the first action girl of the year.

For her sexy picture, Monalisa will get K50,000 as a token of appreciation for getting the most votes through the SMS voting that took place since early December 2011.

She was followed by Maureen and Lucia.

The Weekend Times carries pictures of the action girl on page 8 and pays K10,000 to the girls for appearing on the page.

Since the page was launched, many girls have participated and it has been one of the successes of the newspaper.
